If you have symptoms of a heart attack or stroke or feel that you are in danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room (ER) immediately. other symptoms which are not exhaustive are listed below:

Some signs of a stroke include:

Sudden weakness or numbness: In the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body

Sudden confusion: Or trouble speaking or understanding speech

Sudden vision problems: Such as dimness or loss of vision in one or both eyes
-
Sudden balance or coordination problems: Such as dizziness or trouble walking
-
Sudden severe headache: With no known cause
Some signs of heart attack include:
-
CHEST DISCOMFORT: Most heart attacks involve discomfort in the center of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes, or that goes away and comes back. It can feel like uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain.

DISCOMFORT IN OTHER AREAS OF THE UPPER BODY: Symptoms can include pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw or stomach.

SHORTNESS OF BREATH: with or without chest discomfort.

OTHER SIGNS: may include breaking out in a cold sweat, nausea or lightheadedness.
Some signs of Pulmonary embolism (PE) include:

Sudden shortness of breath

Chest pain, which can feel sharp and worsen when breathing in

Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting

Coughing, which may produce blood
Other symptoms include:

Anxiety or apprehension "feeling of impending doom"

Irregular heartbeat or palpitations

Sweating

Low blood pressure

Stomach pain

Back pain
Some signs of Ruptured cerebral aneurysm include:

severe headache with rapid onset, neck pain and stiffness.

increasing drowsiness.

paralysis.

seizures.
-
impaired speech.
-
visual problems.
-
An unruptured cerebral aneurysm may have no symptoms related to it at all and may be discovered incidentally.
Note: All elderly falls with head trauma should be assessed in an ER, due to risk of bleeding especially s/t being on blood thinning medication. ​
